Reinforced steel pinion for AEG motors with a round shaft

The motor pinion gear sits on the motor shaft and transfers the motor's power to the bevel gear inside the gearbox. As a reinforced replacement pinion it takes more load than a stock part, making it the right swap once the teeth of the old pinion are worn or rounded off.

Construction and accessories

Made from heat-treated steel and shaped for AEG motors with a round (O-type) shaft. The pinion is magnetised, so it stays put on the shaft while you line it up. Fitting needs no special tools: tap it onto the shaft with a soft implement and avoid hard hammer blows. Contents: 1 pinion gear.
