The Silverback MDR-X AEG V3, licensed by Desert Tech, is an advanced bullpup rifle inspired by the real-steel Micro Dynamic Rifle Extreme (MDR-X). Designed for versatility and authenticity, this fully ambidextrous platform is lightweight and modular, making it perfect for various airsoft scenarios.

Constructed from CNC-machined 6000-series aluminum for the receiver, outer barrel, and muzzle brake, and PA6 nylon-reinforced polymer for the stock, grip, and handguard, the MDR-X V3 balances durability and mobility. The M-LOK system (3, 6, and 9 o’clock) allows easy mounting of accessories, and two steel QD sling points are integrated above the grip, with rear QD points optional for added flexibility. Controls, including a 3-point magazine release, fire selector, and bolt release, are fully ambidextrous.

Internally, the MDR-X V3 is powered by Silverback’s advanced gearbox system with a ventilated piston, hardened steel gear set (18:1), and precision CNC components for smooth cycling. The programmable ECU, developed with T238, supports multiple shooting modes, battery protection, and a DMR cooldown feature, making it adaptable to any combat environment.
