The Specna Arms Radom wz.96C Beryl AEG is a high-fidelity Airsoft replica of the wz.96C Beryl, the standard assault rifle of the Polish Armed Forces. This model has seen use not only in Poland but also during peacekeeping missions abroad.

Development and Service History

Following political transformation in the late 20th century, Poland required a 5.56×45mm NATO-compatible rifle to meet NATO standards. In 1995, the Beryl was developed, tested, and subsequently introduced to military service. It served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chad, and was adopted by Lithuania and Nigeria in different versions.

Construction and Materials

This AEG is manufactured by ARES. It includes parts manufactured by Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” Radom and prepared specifically for Airsoft use. The craftsmanship mirrors the real firearm. The construction features:

• Steel: Receiver, gas tube, dust cover, bolt assembly with extended magazine catch, stock guide, safety, sight rail assembly
• Aluminium: Barrel assembly with sights, gas block, fire selector, charging handle
• Polymer: Pistol grip, handguard, adjustable telescopic stock
